It wasn’t long ago that I was writing about how tribal jewellery looked to big this season, well it seems to of taken of a treat and I have some more pieces to share!!
Check out my tribal pointers first though before taking the plunge in buying your first piece. For starters if you want to look ultra authentic then go for brassy gold’s and tarnished silver. If it’s more of a craving for bright colours you are after then stick to beaded finishes. We all want something that looks original so keep your eye out for chic handmade pieces from market stalls – especially when you are on holiday.
Some may want to go for the whole tribal look, so try out tribal make up too with bronzed skin, strong eyebrows and orange lips to create the perfect tribal trend.
Dorothy Perkins have some great tribal accessories at the mo including theses beaded drop hoop earrings for that colour injection you might be craving. They are just £8.00 and can be bought on line or in store. ASOS also have some great beauties like this multi row magnetic bracelet for just £16.00 – so do tribal on the cheap.

These are the cutest little drop earrings ever. They are so girly and so me!! They have a delicate silver tone and are encrusted in diamante with a classy pearl droplet.
They are the type of earring that could be worn come day or night. You could really dress them up with a sexy black number or more simply add a classic touch to a plain tee and jeans.
Buy your very own Juicy Couture Bow drop earrings at www.net-a-porter.com for £46.00. They would make a lovely gift for a special friend, if you can resist keeping them for yourself!!

It appears that with the snake skin trend has come snake jewellery. The likes of Kimberly Stewart and Mary Kate Olsen are obviously loving the new accessories as they have recently been papped with snake jewels wrapped round arms and necks!!
I don’t think this is a trend that will be catching everyone’s eye but if you can pull it off it can make a good look. It is obviously quite a popular trend among the high street as well as I didn’t find it hard to track down some scaly pieces.
For the look on a budget I would recommend this Snake Ring available at Topshop. It’s just £4.00 and comes in both gold and silver. So not to look too scary I would stick to just the one snake piece at a time!!

I’m not quite sure what the idea of these shatter badges from All Saints is but I thought they looked pretty cool. Again, I’m not sure whether they are meant to be worn separately or all together like a brooch. I guess it doesn’t really matter.
The use of the colours would really highlight a plain black or white jacket and give that extra stylish something. I especially love the fact that each shatter segment has All Saints engraved in the edge. They are so unique which is why I love them and cheap at just £15. Have a look for yourself at www.allsaintsshop.co.uk.

Is it just me or did anyone else not know the Jade Jagger was into jewellery design? Apparently the kiss is her trademark logo hence this necklace I guess.
It is a gold plated silver necklace with diamanté decorated kiss. It also features a JJ logo charm near the fastening t-bar. Even though I wasn’t aware this jewellery brand existed, I’m actually quite glad I have found it. I’m not sure why, but I really like this necklace. It’s different and a real statement piece.
It’s certainly not cheap though at a jaw dropping £300.00 – I don’t think I like it that much!!! If you can actually afford such delights or if like me you just like to a bit of window shopping then you can purchase the Jade Jagger Kiss necklace at Net-a-porter.

I have recently been introduced to a quirky jewellery site that goes by the name of Garden Boutique.
It was started in 2001 by two friends that were passionate about fashion. They have since achieved creating gorgeous jewellery that is unique and personalised. You can choose from a selection of bracelets, ankle bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
You don’t tend to see many ankle bracelets these days so I was definitely drawn to this piece. It’s a subtle sterling silver dickie bird ankle bracelet and costs £69.00. This is the kind of piece that will look great when you start showing a bit of leg again in the warmer weather.
I also loved these perspex stick clusters on drop earrings. They are hand cut and cost £56.00 – very classy. All items can be bought online at www.garden-boutique.com and you have the choice of a gift wrap service for each purchase.

Well as far as I knew watches were made to be an everyday wrist accessory. Most, including myself just have the 1 to choose from come day or night. Some may have a few they keep for best, but I’m pretty sure not many have a time piece that hangs around their neck!!
Popular designer Marc Jacobs has created this original yet elegant time piece. The watch itself is a black diamanté encrusted apple-shaped pendant with a white face. It hangs on a long high quality silver chain. It’s the Quarter hours that spell Marc that make this piece so original and a true keepsake.
I guess this isn’t a time piece that could be worn day in day out as it’s not suited to every occasion but it would look fab teamed with a casual black day top or a great power suit for the days spent in the office!! This Marc by Marc Jacobs Apple diamanté watch pendant has a hefty price tag at £250.00 and can be seen and purchased on line at Net-a-porter.

Well with winter well and truly here, wrapping up in as many layers as possible to lounge around in is a must!!
For neck warmth I would normally recommend a traditional scarf, however it appears that clever little fashion designers, Cardigan have come up with the idea of woolen jewellery to help create the desired warm feeling.
This Flower Burst necklace is one of a few jewellery creations by Cardigan. I’ve never seen anything like it, but I have to admit they work well. The simple black and white colour theme of this necklace would mean you could pretty much pair it with any outfit and it’s really pretty in a girly kind of way.
It’s quite pricey for what it is and is retailing at £35.00 but I guess your paying for the name and original design. You can find this necklace as well as a variety of winter warming pieces at www.cardigan.ltd.uk.
