there are some great Kenneth Jay Lane pieces in the sale. Obviously we’re still looking at the higher end of the price range scale, there are some great reductions. This Black and Tan Double Head Tiger Bangle is reduced from £70 to £42, so it’s almost half price. This is not a piece for the faint hearted – it’s a a wrap around bangle with 2 tiger heads. It’s a great statement piece and the orange, gold and black colours are really vivid and work well together.

The detailing on the stars is also really intricate, with silver diamante gems and clear stones set on a textured gold background. The bangle is a nice chunky one, perfect for this season’s statement jewellery trend, and for the really daring why not team it with some other bangles as well. Bright jewel colours are really popular this season, and Butler and Wilson have just launched a new range of brightly coloured items including hair clips, brooches and bracelets that fit the bill perfectly. This Three Crystal Owls on a Branch Brooch is made up of all the colours of the rainbow and is super sparkly. This would be a great addition to any coat or jacket, and it’s definitely unusual. It’s also at the lower end of the price range at £38. Whilst it’s quite a lot for a brooch, if you wear it everyday on a jacket that makes it a fairly low cost-per-wear. They have brooches in just about everything imaginable – from owls and rabbits to shoes and buses – so they’d make a great gift.

The are lots of lovely charms to choose from, from hearts to birds to horses, but my favourite has to be the Embellished Teapot Charm on a gold chain. The splash of colour on it looks great and gives it an antique, vintage feel, and I think you’d be hard pressed to find anyone else with necklace like this! It comes on a short chain for £8, or a long chain for £10.

It’s certainly an unusual collection, but if you’re after something different that no one else has, then look no further.

My favourite is this Big Paper Clip Necklace. It looks just like giant paper clips linked together, and it’s over a metre long, so can be worn loads of different ways. You can have silver paper clips or coloured ones.

This Heart Pendant sums up the Vivienne Westwood style perfectly. It features the iconic orb motif she made famous, as well as incorporating a heart charm. The cross that attaches the heart to the chain fits in nicely with this season’s goth trend, and the silver crystal detail offsets the red perfectly, making this one eye catching piece of neck candy.

My favourite is this cute Magic Castle Necklace. This is the very embodiment of all things Disney without being too cheesy or having Mickey Mouse draped round your neck (although the infamous ears are available as Swarovski necklace pendant if you fancy it!).

At 27 inches, this is a fairly long necklace, so wear it with a plain top to make the colours stand out. It’s 14 Ct gold plated and costs £40, so definitely a grown up piece of jewellery worth taking care of!
