This dragonfly charm necklace is the perfect accessory for an outfit worn on a warm summers evening. The three hanging dragonflies come in varying sizes and dangle delicately just below the chest. The necklace probably looks best against a plain coloured top so the gold wings can really stand out.

Personally I think it’s an extremely pretty piece, and if you’re a real girly girl I’m sure you’ll agree! The long chain allows the dragonflies to be spaced quite far apart so they look as though they’re flying up towards you – beautiful! Available from ASOS for just £8.

Accessorize is one of my favourite places to shop for jewellery, hair accessories and bags, they have such classy products and such variety. I visited the Royal Ascot races last week and spent hours in there the day before trying to find something to go with my outfit. Luckily I found loads and was spoiled for choice!

This is one of the pieces I picked up – a black, silver and pink charm bracelet. In the photograph it looks quite chunky but it’s actually really dainty when on your wrist. Charms are so versatile; you can attach them to pretty much anything whether it’s a necklace, bracelet, handbag, set of keys or even a button hole. Purchasing a good selection of charms can be quite a hobby for some people, I haven’t got that many myself but I’m hoping to increase my collection as the years go by.

I saw this beautiful 14ct gold bowler charm with green locket bag on the Treasure Box website and thought it was definitely one for the collection. It costs £38 and is designed by Juicy Couture.

I found this gorgeous Hultquist collection at Treasure Box and just had to show it to you. My favourite piece is the bag charm, it is an antique silver heart and horn drop bag charm that can be attached easily using the silver clip.

The heart drop earrings have a flower stud and marcasite crystals, the earring match the bag charm and both items have the words I love you engraved in the silver.

I have just been over to the Links of London website and found the most amazing charm bracelet creator. You are able to select the style of bracelet you want to buy then look through the different charms available and drag them onto the bracelet so you can see how the finished item will look.

There are over 100 charms to choose from in many different designs including letters, shoes, bags, stars, hearts, musical instruments and more in both silver and gold. The charms range from £30 to as much as £650; the gold charms tend to be the most expensive.
