New Look has certainly been dominating the high street recently, due to their fashion forward, affordable clothes that somehow manage to be suitable for everything – they’ve got a great selection of office wear, as well as casual clothes and some great party dresses. Their accessories are also brilliant, and now you can finally get the full range online.
This cute Headphone Necklace is an example of the kind of quirky products you can hunt out in New Look. The silver stone encrusted pendant is in the style of big, DJ style, old school headphones, and is a great alternative to the usual heart and star pendants that are around at the moment. It’s also available in pink if you really want it to stand out.
At only £5 it’s a definite bargain and you can pick it up online now.

Jewel colours are really popular at the moment, but can be a bit over whelming in an entire outfit, especially if bright colours don’t work well with your complexion.
Never fear though, as Dorothy Perkins have some great bracelets that’ll have you wearing the trend but not looking like a Christmas bauble. Their Jewel Stretch Bracelet is perfect for pinging onto your wrist as a trend inspired accessory. The different colours, shapes and sizes of gems in the bracelet give it a more vintage and unusual feel, and it’s guaranteed to attract attention sparkling away on your wrist.
They’ve also got a similar bracelet that only contains red, pink and purple gems, perfect for creating a colour scheme with your outfit.
The Jewel Stretch Bracelet costs £15 and you can get it online or instore.

This season it’s been all about big bold jewellery and the new must have accessory, the cuff. This Stone Clamp Bangle from ASOS combines the two trends into this lovely sparkly cuff that’ll match any outfit. If you’ve got a short sleeved dress that’s in dire need of accessories then this is perfect for drawing a bit of attention and boosting your bling points.
The silver and stone detail would look great with a LBD, but it would work with absolutely any colour. It costs a bargain price of £10, so we’re definitely not looking at real diamonds here, but it’ll certainly catch the light and sparkle like the real deal. The flower and heart design is also a cute detail, making it look more expensive.
You can get the Stone Clamp Bangle from ASOS now.

I’m not entirely sure why, but for some reason watch necklaces seem to be hot property right now. Marc Jacobs has just added some to his Marc by Marc Jacobs collection, and they’re popping up everywhere on the high street.
Urban Outfitters has this great Horse Watch Necklace that’s a watch with a cover that features two lovely gold horses! It’s on a nice long silver chain, so if you feel the need you can easily do a time check but pressing the button on the top that pops the cover open. Aside from functionality though, this is simply makes a great necklace.
At £22 it’s definitely a lot cheaper than a Marc Jacobs, and you’ll impress everyone but being on the cutting edge of the latest (however bizarre) trends!
You can pick up the Horse Watch Necklace from Urban Outfitters online.

As we know, the high street is great for getting designer inspired pieces and non-designer prices. I’m always surprised at high street stores jewellery ranges – they just seem to get better and better, despite the fact they’re often tucked away at the back of the shop where no-one can see them!
Debenhams have done a great job of re-creating the costume jewellery trend that’s been parading up and down catwalks this season. This Silver Coloured Crystal Flower Diamant Necklace has definitely got the over-the-top, blinged-up look down pat, but you don’t need to go over the top when it comes to spending. At £10, reduced from £20 it’s a great price for a necklace that’ll add sparkle to any outfit, and keep you firmly up amongst the fashionistas.
You can get it online or instore.

Butler and Wilson have been making jewellery for 38 years, but it’s only in the last few years that the fashion industry has started to notice them, and if you pick up any fashion glossy at the moment, chances are they’ll be a mention of them somewhere.
Bright jewel colours are really popular this season, and Butler and Wilson have just launched a new range of brightly coloured items including hair clips, brooches and bracelets that fit the bill perfectly. This Three Crystal Owls on a Branch Brooch is made up of all the colours of the rainbow and is super sparkly. This would be a great addition to any coat or jacket, and it’s definitely unusual. It’s also at the lower end of the price range at £38. Whilst it’s quite a lot for a brooch, if you wear it everyday on a jacket that makes it a fairly low cost-per-wear. They have brooches in just about everything imaginable – from owls and rabbits to shoes and buses – so they’d make a great gift.
You can buy online from their website, or they have stores in South Kensington and Bond Street.

Bangles are back – and the rule is the more the better – have them stacked up all the way to your elbow!
Topshop have got some great bangle sets that feature different designs and widths of bangles to give that ‘just wear them all’ look we’ve been seeing this season.
One Multi Bangle Set costs £10, and you’ll get enough there to easily fill up your arm for an on-trend statement look. You can get them in a gold or silver, or get both sets and mix and match them. Remember to stick to just one arm though – even the over the top look has it’s limits!
Head over to the Topshop website or have a look instore and adorn your arm!

Junk Jewels is another great small jewellery company that trades online and from Portabello Market in London. Their website is super easy to navigate and has a lovely layout. You can see all their designs in nice big pictures on one page – no need to click to zoom! They’re also fairly inexpensive, ranging from £6 to £12, and postage is free for all UK orders!
The are lots of lovely charms to choose from, from hearts to birds to horses, but my favourite has to be the Embellished Teapot Charm on a gold chain. The splash of colour on it looks great and gives it an antique, vintage feel, and I think you’d be hard pressed to find anyone else with necklace like this! It comes on a short chain for £8, or a long chain for £10.
Head over to Junk Jewels to have a look!

This season’s big, chunky statement jewellery poses quite the storage problem. Multi-strand necklaces and chunky bangles are just too big for squeezing into those little compartments in most jewellery boxes, and closing the lid proves impossible. As a result everything gets tangled up, put away somewhere else, or even worse -lost.
I think I might’ve found the answer though – this Jasper Conran jewellery box is almost the size of a small suitcase, with six compartments in the top and three pull out drawers. It’s even got a buckle clip fastening to hold the lid down. Granted it’ll take a fair amount of space, but once it’s there it’ll house all your jewellery and more besides, and there’s a handy mirror in the lid so you can try on to your heart’s content.
A box this size doesn’t come cheap, and this retails at £70. But it’s pretty much guaranteed to be the only jewellery box you’ll need, and it’s certainly cheaper in the long run then replaced lost and unrepairable tangled items.
You can get one from Debenhams online or instore.
