Red Mix Resin Shapes Necklace

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007

Red Mix Resin Shapes NecklaceI admit that Wallis isn’t usually the first place I look when searching for accessories but their website has some really great jewellery on it at the moment. This Red Mix Resin Shapes Necklace is fab! It would brighten up any outfit and frame your neck perfectly.

The best thing though is that Wallis are currently having a 25% off jewellery sale so this piece has been reduced from £15 to £11.25 – I’d say that’s a bit of a bargain! Red’s really hot this season too so you can’t go wrong with this piece!

Cluster Charm Necklace

Cluster Charm NecklaceIf you’re looking for a necklace that stands out this has to be it! This purple edition comes with faceted beads, a gold heart, pearl drop and beautiful fan. The best thing about this piece though is that it also comes in two other additions; black and green.

The black charm necklace has a large pearl, enamel heart, faceted beads and a jewel encrusted bird charm. The green edition comes with a four leaf clover, pearl drop, elephant, beads and a wish bone. I can’t decide which colour I prefer!

Each has a 92cm chain and costs £20 from Urban Outfitters.

Kenneth Jay Lane Black Dome Ring

Kenneth Jay Lane Black Dome RingMischa Barton has recently been spotted wearing this Kenneth Jay Lane Black Dome Ring. She’s kept accessories to a minimum with her loud outfit and it all works really well together.

The Austrian crystal is set within a black dome on a gold-plated band and is a unique piece. The dome measures 1”x1 ¼” in diameter and is available from Max & Chloe for $88.

This ring is a great addition to a casual day look, or can be worn to compliment a sexy outfit during a night out on the town.

Dragonfly Charm Necklace

Dragonfly Charm NecklaceThis dragonfly charm necklace is the perfect accessory for an outfit worn on a warm summers evening. The three hanging dragonflies come in varying sizes and dangle delicately just below the chest. The necklace probably looks best against a plain coloured top so the gold wings can really stand out.

Personally I think it’s an extremely pretty piece, and if you’re a real girly girl I’m sure you’ll agree! The long chain allows the dragonflies to be spaced quite far apart so they look as though they’re flying up towards you – beautiful! Available from ASOS for just £8.

Cute Rainbow Necklace

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

image1l.jpgThis candy cute necklace is one of the best pieces of jewellery I have seen all summer. There have been so many cheap looking attempts at girly pastel coloured jewellery with cutesy themes such as love hearts and cup cakes but this piece gets everything right.

The acrylic is the perfect material for this style of jewellery – it achieves the plastic toy look while still looking like a well made piece. The colours are bright and contrast well. It only uses three colours but to great effect, this is so much better than some of the garish examples that use every colour in the rainbow and I can’t think of a chain that fits better than the candy pink dog tag.

Don’t miss this wonderful example of kitsch fashion. It’s avaliable from where its reduced to £10 from £18! With the money you saved you can by the matching cuff!
